Alma Libre Villas "Kastraki" is located in Kastraki of Naxos, among the most beautiful beaches of the island and offer villas overlooking the sunset in the endless blue of the Aegean.
The off-white unit consists of two houses that combine the traditional Cycladic style with modern comforts. Built on a hill with unobstructed views, in a unique surrounding area with squares, stone living rooms, pergolas, dining rooms, BBQ and stone oven.

Irene's Alma Libre Villa was our Greek island dream come true. We all know how hard it is to meet those pre-vacation expectations, but I can truly say that our stay at Alma Libre (meaning "free soul") exceeded all we could have imagined.
Who would not be at peace and in awe with the deep blue Mediterranean stretching out below you, the sun setting over the peaks of Naxos?
Beautifully designed (Irene and her father are architects), this one-of-a-kind 3-bedroom villa's abundant windows and doors open to multiple terraces that afford you breezes and those amazing views, from the coast to the countryside, of which you will never tire.
And so much to do on the wonderful island of Naxos (the reason our family with two young teens chose it)! A 15-minute walk lands you at Kastraki beach (a long expanse that takes you away from the crowds, even in July when most Greek islands are overrun with tourists), and our family enjoyed venturing on foot a bit further to Mikra Viglia for snorkeling and rock jumping. By car you can not only visit more amazing beaches, but also travel inland or to Naxos town for cultural events, ancient ruins, and hiking while enjoying an island renown for its agricultural production and incredible food (and one of Naxos's best restaurants is just down the hill from Irene's villa).
In addition to generously picking us up/taking us to ferry/airport and shuttling us to beaches, Irene also greeted us with the bounty of Naxos produced by her family or on the island: plums, jam, honey, wine, butter, and her mother's cookies! Irene and her family are truly the embodiment of Greek island hospitality -- warm and sharing with expansive knowledge and fluent in multiple languages -- which reached its apogee when Irene organized a full surprise birthday dinner with homemade cake and wine for my husband who had his birthday the last night we were on Naxos!

Just
AMAZING!!! We had one of our best Airbnb times ever in Irene’s villa!! Irene is
a super-kind, helpful and very pretty;) host, who is available 7/24, reacts
immediately for questions, helps with all kind of superb advices and tips about
local places to explore, best tavernas, hidden beaches and all kind of
information.
She and her mom&dad are very good mooded and smiling hosts:),
even gave us an incredible tasting plate from their familiy(!) grill lamb,
offered honey and marmelade and local specialities to taste at our welcome
night, and surprised us with local home-made cakes the other day.
The Villa is
shared in two parts, the upper level is for guests, equipped top, all things
necessary to be found, nothing missed, truly perfect. Also to mention is the
top quality and variety of kitchen equipment. The view from the balcony was
truly amazing, the sunset from there is a life-time experience.
Definitely a
must go place, would (and will :)) go again anytime and suggest to airbnb
guests to go to Irenes villa.

Irene et se parents sont des gens d'une grande gentillesse et d'une grande hospitalité.
Ils sont venus nous chercher à notre arrivée du bateau très tard le soir. Des cadeaux de bienvenus nous attendaient: confiture, miel et gâteaux maison, fruits, boissons etc...
Nous avons partagé une soirée très sympathique avec eux ainsi qu'avec nos voisins, locataires de l'appartement du rez-de-chaussé appartenant à la même maison.
Le logement est très agréable. Situé au 1er étage de la maison comprenant deux niveaux, nous n'avons pratiquement pas utilisé la climatisation. Il y a deux terrasses.
L'environnement est très calme. L'isolation est très bonne: nous n'avons pas été dérangés par la présence des autres locataires; de plus l'agencement des deux logements permet de préserver l'intimité de chacun d'eux.
On peut aller à la plage à pied (1km à peu près). Nous avions quand-même loué une voiture profiter de toute la diversité de l'Ile.
Enfin, on ne se lasse pas du coucher de soleil depuis la terrasse.
We enjoyed everything of our stay (8 days in July) at
Villa Alma Libre !
We were picked up at the port by our hosts and then were
greeted by the family at the villa.
We were offered a basket of fresh fruits,
homemade biscuits and marmelade, honey, a bottle of wine. We asked the family
to tell us more about the island (beaches, places to visit, hiking trails,...)
and they gave us very good advice.
The villa in itself is so nice and cozy that
we immediately felt at home. Rooms are well distributed for 4 to 5 persons. The
kitchen is fully equipped.
There are 2 terraces, one is sheltered from the
wind, which we appreciated as it blew quite strongly sometimes! We could pick
up lemons and grapes in the garden.
There are also two very good
restaurants not far from the house (walking distance) as well as small local
supermarkets.
The lovely villages of the center of the island are very easy to
reach, as well as the beautiful (and not crowded) beaches of Mikri Vigla,
Aliko, Pirgaki etc.
If you are looking for a place in the countryside, away from
mass tourism, we can only warmly recommend to stay at Villa Alma Libre !

eu un séjour formidable à Alma Libre. Nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis
par Irene et ses parents, avec de charmantes attentions et de nombreuses
informations sur l’ile.
Nous étions 7. La maison était parfaite. Très propre,
neuve, très bien décorée, une jolie terrasse à l’abri du soleil. Rien ne
manque.
La maison est idéalement située sur la côte ouest à mi-distance entre
le port de Naxos, et les belles plages et criques sauvages du sud.
Nous
recommandons vraiment cette maison ! Naxos est une île incroyable, à découvrir
!!!

her family made our time in Naxos unforgettable, and couldn't have possibly

The house is clean, stylish and with plenty of nice
touches - with space to accommodate us as a family of 6.
Nothing was too much
bother for our hosts, with plenty of local recommendations, greetings at
arrival/departure, helping to source a good deal on car rental and provision
of their own wine, ouzo and honey.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and were
made to feel like welcome guests by a wonderful family.

Maison bien équipée. Nous y avons été très
confortables (4 adultes et 4 enfants). L'hôte nous a même préparé de la nourriture
à notre arrivée (biscuits, bouchées).
Très bien située près des plus belles
plages de Naxos.
Excellent restaurant juste à l'entrée du chemin de terre qui
mène à la propriété. Marché à proximité.
